We're here for you, Missoula.

Suicide persists as a major public health problem in Missoula County, but we're here to help. And with our wonderful partners at Project Tomorrow Montana, we're improving our resources for help.

Project Tomorrow Montana

The Missoula City-County Health Department is working with Project Tomorrow Montana to address this public health crisis. Project Tomorrow Montana represents partnerships from many disciplines including state and local government, local businesses, schools, social service and mental health providers, law enforcement and emergency medical service personnel, and suicide survivors.

Project Tomorrow's mission is to reduce the numbers of suicide deaths in Missoula County through education, awareness, and stigma reduction in these ways:

  1. Develop an organized, integrated approach and a common vision for suicide prevention.
  2. Teach our community suicide prevention awareness and intervention skills.
  3. Assist and develop projects that improve Missoula's capacity to reduce suicide rates.

Our goal is to reduce the number of suicides and suicide attempts through collaborative efforts that promote, support, and increase awareness, prevention, intervention, and recovery.
