Meetings - Open to the Public
Meetings of the Maternal Child Health Advisory Council are open to the public. Meetings are held monthly on the second Monday of the month from 12 p.m. (noon) to 1 p.m. The meetings are currently being conducted at the Missoula City County Health Department, 201 W. Alder ST. with an online Microsoft Teams option. For meeting information, please contact Michelle at (406) 258-4261. The meeting date and time are subject to change or cancel.

Members
The council consists of nine to 15 volunteer members. In keeping with the council's charge, individuals are sought who have expertise in areas related to maternal child health (MCH), such as nursing, nutrition, parenting, pediatrics, family practice, child protection, counseling and family development, as well as one representative nominated by the Missoula Urban Indian Health Center, one parent who has used community MCH services, one student member and a staff member from the Missoula City-County Health Department.
Authorization
The CHARGE for the Maternal Child Health Advisory Council was revised and adopted by the Board of Health on February 16, 2023.
