Licensing, Inspections and Operation

Plan Review

Before constructing or making changes to an existing pool or spa, plans must be submitted to the state Department of Public Health and Human Services, Food and Consumer Safety Section. After plans are approved and work is complete, email our office for a licensing inspection. State license fees are due at that time.

Inspections

Seasonal pools and spa are inspected once annually, while those operated year-round are inspected twice per year. Inspection reports are public record and may be viewed at our office or online.
