Are you working from home while also playing the role of parent, cleaning staff, and chef? Let your school take meal prep off your to-do list. School meals are a great way to ensure your child receives the nutrients they need to learn and grow.

Does your household already receive SNAP/TANF/FDPIR benefits?

  • If yes, children living in your household automatically qualify for free meals at school, all year long!
  • You do not need to fill out an application to apply for free school meals.
  • If you have not received a letter confirming benefits, we recommend calling your school to confirm benefits.
  • The free school meal benefit will apply to any child living in your household.

If you do not receive SNAP/TANF/FDPIR benefits, applying for school meals is quick and easy:

  1. Apply online if your school has an online application.
  2. If your school does not have an online application:
    • Print the application.
    • Fill out the application.
    • Return completed application to your child's school.

Your school will notify you of your household approved benefit level (free/reduced/paid) within a few days. If you have questions on your application call your child's school for more information!
