Crime Victim Compensation - The Crime Victims Compensation Act provides financial assistance to help crime victims with crime-related medical expenses. Created in 1978, the Montana Crime Victim Compensation Program can help with loss of wages, medical expenses and funeral expenses incurred as the result of personal injury crimes. Vine - After sentencing, register to receive automated notifications about the custody status and location of adult felony offenders by calling 1-800-456-3076 or following the link www.vinelink.com.

Conweb - The State of Montana maintains the Correctional Offender Network (CON), an internet database that contains basic criminal records of felony offenders supervised by the Department of Corrections.

YWCA - The YWCA’s Pathways Program offers shelter, crisis counseling and support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, including the 24-hour crisis hotline; safe shelter for women, men and children fleeing abusive situations; walk-in peer counseling; weekly support groups; in-house short-term therapy; referrals to community resources; and legal, personal and medical advocacy. Crime Victim Advocate Office - Provides free and confidential assistance to victims of relationship violence, sexual assault, stalking, and property crimes by offering advocacy and resource information in civil and criminal matters. You can also contact them by phone at (406) 258-3830.

First Step - First Step Resource Center, a National Children’s Alliance-accredited children’s advocacy center, provides medical evaluations, forensic interviews, mental health treatment, care coordination and referrals for child and adult victims of abuse or assault.
