Missoula County received a direct allocation of $23 million through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The County will leverage these funds to address pressing community needs intensified by the pandemic and to fund transformative infrastructure and other projects.

The commissioners held public hearings on Sept. 9, 2021, and Sept. 23, 2021, outlining the proposed expenditure of ARPA funds; they approved the final resolution of intent at their Sept. 30, 2021 administrative public meeting. A detailed list of ARPA funded projects is available in the final resolution attachment
